Juanita (Milligan) Sturgill

Juanita Sturgill, age 73, of Leesville passed away peacefully on May 23, 2019, at Lake Pointe Village of Scottsburg with her loving family by her side.

Juanita entered this life on December 10, 1945, in Bedford, Indiana and was the loving daughter of the late Charles (Mib) and Betty (Allen) Milligan. She was a graduate of Tunnelton High School, class of 1963. She worked at Dura Automotive for over 20 years. She loved playing cards, playing bingo, and going to the casino to play the slot machines.

She was a loving mother and Mamaw to her family.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her loving sons: William (Bill) Sturgill and his wife Kim of Seymour, Steve Sturgill and his significant other Lecia of Leesville, her loving grandchildren: Nic Merritt and his fiancé Tiffany, Andrea Merritt, and Eli McClusky, two great-grandchildren: Raelyn Robbins and Aiden Merritt.

She was preceded by her parents, a daughter Sandy Sturgill, and a granddaughter Marley Merritt.

A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Roger Allen and Pastor Dustin Staggs officiating at Hague Funeral Home of Medora. Burial will follow at Leesville Cemetery where she will lay in rest next to her daughter.

Friends may call at Hague Funeral Home of Medora on Saturday after 12:00 noon until time of the service.

A remembrance fund has been set for Juanita at Hague Funeral Home.
