Mary Louise (Robinson) Dixon

Mary Louise (Robinson) Dixon, 85, of Medora passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Schneck Medical Center.

Mary entered this life on May 27, 1934, in Miami, Florida, she was the loving daughter of John Lewis and Pauline (Ikerd) Robinson.  Mary was a graduate of Medora High Class of 1952.

She married the love of her life, Howard “Buss” Dixon, Jr. on April 14, 1952, and was blessed with a daughter Patricia and a son Larry.  Buss preceded her on September 22, 2007. Mary was an avid reader and a very active member of the Medora Wesleyan Church.  She worked at the Medora Plastics Factory. She worked on the first day of the factory opening and worked until the last day of the factory closing. 

Mary will be missed by her daughter Patricia Shelton; her sisters: Ruth Ann Smith and her husband James, Barbara Schwein and her husband Paul, Linda Schoenfelder, Brenda Robinson, Dianna Shirley and her husband Larry, and her brother John Louis Robinson.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Howard, her son Larry, and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at Hague Funeral Home of Medora on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Skip Breeden officiating. Burial will follow at White River Valley Cemetery of Medora.

Friends may visit at Hague Funeral Home on Monday, August 19, 2019, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and on Tuesday after 11:00 am until time of the service.

Memorials may be given in Mary’s name to Medora Wesleyan Church.
