Mr. Rollie Rogers, 75, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.
Friends and family may call at Zabel Funeral Home of Brownstown from 10 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.
Funeral services will be conducted by Zabel Funeral Home at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery of Brownstown.
Rollie was born on May 19, 1943 in Waynesburg, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Versie (Williams) Rogers. In August of 1963, he married Mary (Nelson) Rogers; she preceded Rollie in death in January of 2012.
He was a loving father and grandfather. He moved to Jackson County in 1979. He enjoyed watching football and golf on TV.
Rollie was a truck driver out of Columbus, IN.
His survivors include his children, Lucas A. Rogers, Mark W. Rogers, Guy M. Rogers and Deborah (Steve) Barrett; brother, Russell Rogers; sister, Mary Jo Peterson; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife; daughter, Faye Elizabeth Rudolph; and brothers, Richard Rogers and Robert Rogers.
