Travis Wayne Beavers, of Medora passed away on the evening of October 20, 2026, in Bloomington, Indiana. He was 51.

Travis entered this life on June 12, 1975, in Bedford Indiana. He was the only child of Steven Wayne and Iona Jean (McGill) Beavers. Travis grew up in Medora and was a graduate of Medora Community Schools.

He was of Christian Faith and attended the Medora Pentecostal Church and Cornerstone Church of Bedford. Travis was a loving son, cousin, and a good friend to those who knew him.

He will be forever missed by his parents, Wayne and Jean Beavers, aunts and uncles, Bob McGill, Howard Prewitt, Randy Prewitt, Danny (Mary) Beavers, Teresa (Mike) Doty, and Jyl Lutsie, and several cousins.

He was preceded by his grandparents Hubert Leon and Ruth Elizabeth (Jackson) and Robert Ray and Louis Maxine (Wagner) Prewitt, uncles Rick (Faye) Sowers, and Aunt Brenda Kaye (Mike) Turpin.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Medora Christian Church on Monday October 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM with Brother David Gill officiating. Burials will follow at Old Weddellville Cemetery.

Visitation will also be on Monday October 26 starting at 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Hague Funeral Home of Medora.
