Brian Elliott Obituary

Brian Keith Elliott, age 59, of Ft. Ritner, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 15, 2020.

 

He entered this life on December 29, 1960, in Bedford Indiana and was the loving son of the late Henry Maurice and Dolores (Hughes) Elliott. He spent most of his life around the Ft. Ritner area, never traveling far from home.

 

Brian graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School Class of 1979.

 

Brian was an avid outdoorsman. He loved going hunting and fishing, but turkey hunting was his favorite.  Brian was of Christian Faith and attended the Midway Apostolic church. Brian worked as a forklift driver for Celadon Trucking for many years.

 

He leaves behind those to cherish his memories, a wife, Rebecca (Godsey) Elliott of Fort Ritner; his children, Justin Elliott of Fort Ritner, Codi Martinez and he husband Hugo of Seymour, and Bryan Lee Elliott and his fiancé, Kayla Pride of Brownstown,  step-children, Amy Lindell and her husband Matthew of Bedford, Abby Radcliff and her husband John of Orleans, and Alexandrea Hayes of Fort Ritner; and 13 grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Funeral service will be conducted at Hague Funeral Home of Medora on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at 11:00 am with Pastor Russell Raney officiating.  Burial will be at Proctor Cemetery Dixon Chapel.

 

Friends may visit at Hague Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, from 4:00-8:00 pm and after 10:00 am on Wednesday, until time of the service.

 

Memorials may be given in Brian’s name to Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services or Medora Goes Pink.
