Carolyn (Seibert) Lynch, of Medora, passed away at her home on the evening of June 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 85.  Carolyn entered this life in Connersville, Indiana on December 18, 1940. She was second born and the first daughter of six children born to the loving parents, John, and Alma (Wilkerson) Seibert.  Carolyn grew up in Connersville and graduated from Connersville High School in 1958.  On July 31, 1960, in Brookville, she was united in marriage to Luther Lynch.  This union of almost 57 years was blessed with two children, Timothy, and Kimberly.  Carolyn and Luther Moved to Medora in 1966 to raise their family. Luther preceded on May 15, 2016.

Carolyn was a devoted wife, loving mother, Grandma, Mammaw and Mams, just depended on which of her grandkids were hollering her name.  She was a member of the Medora Christian Church. She retired from Pantasote of Freeman Field. When the plant left Seymour for Scottsburg, she decided to retire after a dedicated 26 years. After retiring, Carolyn could be found at one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren sporting events and school functions.  She loved spending time with her family.

Carolyn leaves a legacy of love with her children, Tim Lynch and his wife Debbie of Brownstown, Kim Riley and her husband Scott of Gas City, grandchildren  Jenale Bailey of Marion, Dustin Bailey of Jonesboro, Amberly Schroeder and her husband Brandon of Brownstown, Kirk Hauer of Minneapolis, Molly Hauer of Big Lake, and Brittaney Haynes and her husband Nathan of Brownstown, seven great-grandchildren Kohen, Kinsley, Bristol, Kylee, Chance, Nash and Madi, and a great- great grandbaby that is due on Mam’s birthday, sister Patricia Smith of Connersville, two brothers, Jim Seibert and his wife Karen of Brookville, and Dick Seibert of Connersville.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, a great granddaughter, Lily Haynes, and two brothers Robert (Bob) Seibert and Kenneth (Kenny) Seibert.

Funeral service will be conducted at Medora Christian Church on Saturday June 13, 2026, at 11:00 am with Pastor Mike Wall officiating.

Burial will follow at White River Valley Cemetery

Visitation will be at Hague Funeral Home of Medora on Friday June 12, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 pm and on Saturday starting at 10:00 am at the church.

Memorials may be written in Carolyn’s name to Medora Christian Church.
