Clifford D. Bell, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away early in the evening on June 17, 2026, at Gainesville, Florida. He was 69.
Clifford entered this life on April 11, 1957, in Norman, Indiana. He was the last born to Charles A and Beatrice (Charles) Bell and the little brother to Shirley, Charlotte, David, Eddie, and Ralph.
He left Indiana for Florida when he was seven. He moved back to Indiana for a few years. Florida weather never quit calling Clifford to return, and after 3 years in Indiana, he went home to Florida. He was an avid fisherman. He would fish anywhere he could get his fishing pole wet. Florida was just a perfect fit for him.
Clifford worked in home and building construction for over 50 years. He specialized in working with stucco and plaster creating some memorable walls and designs.
His memories will be forever cherished by his sisters, Shirley Henderson and her husband Rick of Medora, and Charlotte Haynes and her husband Carl of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.
He was as preceded in death by his parents, and brothers David Bell, Eddie Bell, and Ralph Bell.
Funeral service will be conducted at Hague Funeral Home on Friday June 26, 2026, public visitation will be from 11 to 1 pm, with Mike Goltry officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Norman In.
Memorials may be written in Clifford’s name to the American Cancer Society.
