Dianna (Robinson) Shirley, of Norman, passed away peacefully at her home on the late afternoon of June 17, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 73 years old

Dianna entered this life on December 20, 1950, in Seymour, Indiana. She was the daughter of John Lewis and Pauline (Ikerd) Robinson and the sister to Mary, RuthAnn, Barbara, Linda, Brenda and John. On April 21, 1986, she was united in marriage to Larry Shirley. Together they raised Robert and Melissa.

Dianna was a devoted wife, loving mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma. She had a green thumb for flowers and plants. Dianne loved to “play” in the dirt. She took great care of her flowers and landscaping.  She would apply this to her jobs as well.  She went to work at Central Foundry and then took a job as a seasonal worker for Apple Acres. This lead Dianne become to a professional landscaper. During the off season, she worked at the IU Book Store in Bloomington.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa Easterday of Ft. Branch, Stepdaughter Cynthia Shirley of Connecticut, Grandchildren Dawson Easterday and his wife Taylor, three great-grandchildren,

Her Brother John Robinson of Florida, sisters RuthAnn Smith and her husband Jim of Medora, Barbara Schwein and her husband Paul of Florida, Linda Schenfelder of Seymour, and Brenda Robinson of Medora, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her son Robert on February 20, 2020, and her husband Larry on December 28, 2020.

As per Dianna’s wishes, there will be no service planned.

All final arrangements have been entrusted to Hague Funeral Home of Medora.
