Donald Dean Mathis, Jr.

Donald Dean Mathis, Jr., age 48, of Brownstown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 18,
2020. Don entered this life on July 12, 1971, in San Antonio, Texas. He was the loving son of Donald
Dean Mathis, Sr, and Emma (Beck) Mathis. He was a graduate of Brownstown Central High School, Class
of 1990. He was a factory worker and formerly worked at NTN Driveshaft until he became disabled.

Don was an avid outdoorsman. He was always ready to be outdoors and loved nature. He loved
hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting, mushroom hunting, and taking photographs of God’s beauty.

Surviving to cherish his memories are: his sons, Jared Mathis of Springville and Devin Robinson of
Vallonia; a grandson Jayden Mathis; his dear friend, Kelli Williams of Brownstown; sisters, Linda (Terry) Persinger of Columbus, Ann
(John) Roy of Colorado, Buelah Withrow and Joetta Lamont both of Kansas City; and two brothers, Mike
(Christine) Kruczek of Germany, and Dilman Mathis and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Debbie Feller; and an infant sister, Robin.
