Obituary
Glen Robert Henderson, of Medora, passed away on the spring afternoon of March 20, 2022 at his daughters home surrounded by his family. He was 80 years old.
Bob entered this life on August 6, 1941 in Clear Springs, Indiana to the loving parents, Doyle and Marion (Harger) Henderson. Bob was a graduate of Medora Community Schools.
Bob left Medora for Zion, Illinois where he became a union roofer and sheet metal worker. He worked for Brown & Kerr Construction for over 35 years. After retiring Bob returned back to Jackson County and settled into retirement life. He could usually be found tinkering in the garage, hanging out with his loving family, hunting in the woods, or working on someone’s lawn mowers.
Surviving to cherish Bob’s memories, his children, Carla Machak and her husband Steve of Brownstown, Marc Henderson and his wife Kim of Winthrop Harbor,
Illinois, and Tami Henderson of Medora, grandchildren, Chris Henderson and his wife Nicole, Tiffany Henderson, great-grandchildren Riley and Kailey Henderson, Ayden and Ireland Burke, and Harper Elliott
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Matthew Burke
Final services will be private.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Zabel Funeral Home of Brownstown.
