Glenn Thomas Day Obituary

Glenn Thomas Day, age 85, formerly of Seymour passed away peacefully at Arbor Grove Village of Greensburg on Friday July 13,2018.  


Funeral Services will be conducted by Zabel Funeral Home at Valley Home Old Regular Baptist Church of Freetown on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m..  Burial will follow at Valley Home Baptist Cemetery.  


Friends may call at Valley Home Old Regular Home Baptist Church on Tuesday July 17, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.

 

Glenn was born on July 27, 1932 in Belcraft Kentucky to the late Kenneth M. and Rachel C. (Caudill) Day.  He was a vetran of the Korean War having served in the Army.  He attended Valley Home Old Regular Baptist Church.  He worked as a carpenter for Repp and Mundt Construction and Taylor Bros Construction.  He was an avid woodworker in his spare time and loved to restore old houses. 


He is survived by his 3 sisters:  Helen Ayers, Sylvia Ziegler, and Anna Ruth Mikels, a brother: Kenneth M. Day, 3 grandsons Matthew Day, Joseph Day and Brandon Day, and 2 granddaughters:  Amy and Crystal.  


Glenn was proceded in death by his parents, 2 wives Amy Juanita (Hurley) Day and Geneva (Pfinning) Debell Day, 2 daughters: Rachel May Day and Misty Jane Day, 3 brothers:  Palmer Day, Roy C. Day,  and James E. Day.  


Memorials may be written to Valley Home Old Regular Baptist Church or donor's choice through Zabel Funeral Home.
