Jerrod Health Ray

Jerrod Heath Ray of Medora passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2026, at his home. He was 40 years old.

Jerrod entered this life on January 7, 1986, in Seymour, Indiana. He was the son of Forrest Wayne Ray and Debra Jean Spore. At the age of four the family moved to California, and grew up Imperial, before moving back to Medora at the age of 15.  He became a brick layer starting at the age of 18 serving his apprenticeship through Beavers Masonry.

A loving father, Zoey and Bryton, would often play the guitar. He took great pride in his music, so much he was teaching his son how to play guitar and write melodies.  Jerrod was always one to lend a helping hand to those who needed help. He was an outdoorsman, and loved fishing on the White River in one of his hiding spots.

His memories will live on with his children, Zoey Ray and Bryton Ray, siblings, Debra Becerra, Daniel Becerra, Rebecca Ruiz, Josh Quinterro, David Becerra, Steve Ray, Rhonda Ross, and Ashley Ray Nevarez.

He was preceded by his parents.

A gathering to celebrate Jerrod’s life will be conducted on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Hague Funeral Home of Medora.

A remembrance fund has been established in Jerrod’s name through Hague Funeral Home.
