Jesse Acton

January 9, 1990 ~ July 30, 2022 (age 32)

Jesse Acton, of Medora passed away unexpectantly on July 30, 2022, in Washington County, Indiana. He was 32 years old.

Jesse entered this life on January 9, 1990, in Seymour, Indiana. He was the last son born to Douglas L. and Mildred (Daily) Acton, and the youngest brother to Douglas C. and Phillip.

Jesse spent his childhood in southern Florida, before moving back to the Medora area in 2001. Shortly after moving back, he met his future wife, Tayana. After a 15-year courtship, she finally said “I Do” on August 6, 2020, at the Medora Wesleyan Church. Jesse was a devoted husband and father. He had an adventurous soul. He could be found out panning for gold, fishing by a pond, or teaching his kids all about the outdoors.

Jesse was a devoted husband and father. He was a handyman by trade. Jesse loved working in construction. He worked in masonry with his father for few years before starting his own construction company, McFester Way Construction. If it was broken and needed fixed, he would grab his tools and go to work.

He leaves those to cherish his memories, wife Tayana of Medora, his children, Alexcia, Julius, Cleopatra, Elizabeth, and soon to enter this world Nefertiti, his parents, Mildred and Doug Acton of Medora, and brothers, Doug Acton of Seymour, and Phillip Acton of Medora.

A celebration of Jesse’s life will be planned at a later date.

Memorials may be written in Jesse’s name to the family.
