Jewel Lene (Brock) Miser, age 79, of Medora passed away peacefully at Northwood of Salem on July 6, 2019.

Jewel entered this life near Delany Park in Washington County, Indiana on May 11, 1940, to the late Ephie and Ida Louise (Calloway) Brock.  On June 1, 1957, at Weddleville Lutheran Church she married Thomas James Beavers. From this union, they were blessed with four children, Rita, Tammy, Joseph, and James. Tom preceded her in 2007.

Jewel was a devoted wife, loving mother, and Gram. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Medora. Jewel worked as a Medical Assistant for the doctor offices in Medora, Bedford, and Brownstown.

Surviving to cherish Jewel’s memories are her children: Rita Roberts and her husband Tom, and James Beavers; thirteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, and a brother Ephie Brock and his wife Vivian.

She was preceded in death by her husbands: Thomas  Beavers, Ronnie Bannister, and Randy Miser, her daughter Tammy Kinney, and her son Joseph Beavers.

Funeral Service will be conducted by Hague Funeral Home of Medora on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 5:00 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Jack Belk officiating. Burial will follow at White River Valley Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Hague Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and on Wednesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church after 4:00 pm.

Memorials may be written to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Jewel’s name.
