Marvin Wayne Noland, of Salem, formerly of Pekin, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2022. He was 55 years old.
Marvin entered this life in Salem, Indiana on October 10, 1967. He was the oldest born to Billy and Marva (Crady) Noland. He was the older brother to Donna and Melissa. He spent most of his life in Pekin and attended East Washington School.
Marvin was a devoted father, and Papa.
He was an avid hunter, and on any given day he would be out in the woods hunting whatever was in season.
Marvin also was a horse wrangler. He loved working with the horses on the farm, he wasn’t much of a horse rider, but that didn’t keep him away from his horses.
Marvin was a maintenance man for Smith Creek for over 15 years. If it was broken, he would find a way to fix it. Marvin found his passion for maintenance after being a steel worker for several years.
Marvin leaves a legacy of love with his sons, Marvin Noland, Jr. and fiancé Aliyah of Pekin, and Wesley Hunt and his wife Brittini of Pekin, his parents Billy and Marva Noland of Medora, and his fiancé Amy McAdams of Salem, sisters, Donna Hobson and her husband Mark of Seymour, and Melissa Long and her husband Michael of Salem, six grandchildren, Isaiah, Jaedin, Isabella, Weston, Paisleigh, and Lane, and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
