Nathan Aaron Allman Obituary

Nathan Allman, of Norman, passed away at his home on July 16, 2024. He was 60 years old.


Nathan entered this life on January 30, 1964, in Columbus, Indiana. He was the third child born of the late Richard Dale, Sr and Jannes (Nielsen) Allman.


Nathan was a journeyman carpenter for Central Midwest Carpenters for over 30 years before retiring. He was a music lover.  Nathan was an avid guitar player, whether it was an electric, bass, or acoustic guitar, he could make some music.  He was member of the Damm Hippy Band and would travel with the band to play in local music festivals. He played until his arthritis made him retire from the band.


Nathan is survived by his siblings, Robin Bruner and her husband Terry of Norman, Matt Allman of Columbus, Amanda Allman of Columbus, Molly Smith and her husband Mike of Azalea, Kassie Clary and her husband Larry of Hope, and Alicia Hill and her husband Nick of North Vernon, step-daughters Brooke Cole of North Vernon and Paylee Ertel of North Vernon, six step-grandchildren,  and several nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his Brother Richard Dale Allman, Jr. 


A celebration of Nathan's life will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Zabel Funeral Home.
