Stanley Leroy Baughman, Jr, of Medora, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2023. He was 67 years old.

Junior entered this life on October 5, 1956, in Columbus, Indiana. He was the first born to Stanley Leroy and Anna Jane (Daulton) Baughman. Both have preceded. Junior grew up in Jewell Village, and then moved to Medora and never left.  

Jr. was a devoted father, and loving Pap. He was a very resourceful man and had a knack to repurpose anything. He was a worker of many trades, he worked in construction for many years, was a farm hand, and a bouncer at the local Medora Tavern. Junior was an excellent gardener. He would use his entire backyard to grow a garden and raised multiple fruit trees around his yard.  He would also raise and sell rabbits.

Jr. memories will be forever cherished by his daughter, Amber Baughman of Seymour, a son Jeremy Baughman and his wife Brittany of Franklin, grandchildren, Norton Baughman, Tisa Lane, Reagan Baughman, Jeremy Dean Baughman, Jr, Dequin Reid, Aaliyah Reid, Mason Collins, three great-grandchildren, Zoi Baughman, Octavia Angela, William Willis, and one on the way, Axel Baughan, his sisters, Barbara Fish and her husband Terry of Norman, Rachel Ault and her husband Jerry of Medora, and Sherry Hoene and her husband Tim of Brownstown.

Jr. was preceded by his granddaughter Alexis Baughman on September 14, 2019.

A celebration of Jr.’s life will be conducted at Hague Funeral Home on Wednesday December 27, 2023, at 7:00 pm.

Visitation will be conducted at the funeral home from 4:00 until service time.

Memorials may be written in Junior’s name to his remembrance fund at the funeral home.
