Mr. Stephen Dennis Goen,77, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born June 12, 1940, in Sparksville, the son of the late Everett and Agnes Maggie Goen.

Family and friends may call at Hague Funeral Home in Medora on Sunday, March 25 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be conducted by Hague Funeral Home at Dixon Chapel at a later date.

He enjoyed outdoor activities, watching hummingbirds and coloring books.  He retired from Otis Elevator in Bloomington after several years of being a machinist.

He is survived by daughters, Bonita (Larry) McPherson and Sarah (Jason) Hassler; sons Monte Goen and Johnny Goen; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Karen) Goen and Joseph (Glenda) Goen; and sister Patty (Marvin) Reynolds.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son Dennis Goen; brothers, Charles Goen and Bill Goen; and sisters, Shelia Wells and Cynthia Goen.
