Wanda June (Shelton) Reynolds, of Medora, passed away on the late evening of August 1, 2026, at her home with her family by her side. She was 82.

Wanda entered this life on January 4, 1944, in Medora, Indiana. She was the daughter of Arvella Mae Shelton and was raised in Shelton Holler by her grandparents, James Franklin and Sarah Elizabeth Shelton. She was the older sister to Harold and Wilma.

On August 5, 1972, she was united in marriage to Ronald Neal Reynolds. Together they raised Lisa Sue and Jennifer Diane. Ron preceded on September 27, 2004.

Wanda was a devoted wife, loving mother, Mamaw, and Granny to her great-grandchildren. She was a stay-at-home mother, who enjoyed gardening, listening to church services and reading. Her favorite times were spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their activities.

Her love will live on with her children, Lisa Elkins and husband Garry, Jennifer Starr and husband James, grandchildren, Hayley Couch and husband Josh, Hannah Walton and husband Phillip, Jared Starr, and Jordan Starr, great-grandchildren, Cassidy Couch, Cayden Couch, Adalyn Walton, and Anisty n Walton.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother, brother Harold Johnson and sister Wilma Johnson Engleking, and several aunts and uncles and 1st husband Calvin Cooper.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday August 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Hague Funeral Home of Medora with Pastor Denny Temple officiating. Burial will follow at White River Valley Cemetery

Visitation will be held on Thursday prior to the service starting at 11:00 am
